DescriptionNorthPoint Health and Wellness Center is seeking a senior clinical psychologist to deliver quality mental health services to children and families within an integrated health care model. Qualified candidates will have experience with psychological assessment, clinical supervision, and best practice in clinical intervention with children, adolescents, and families.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at located at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota and remote as job duties require. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable after the new employee successfully completes probation.

This position is subject to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Interim Final Rule on COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination. As such, it requires the job offer to be conditional based on the candidate being fully vaccinated for COVID-19. “Fully vaccinated” means 14 days after receiving the second dose in a two-dose vaccination series approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on a full or emergency-use basis, or 14 days after receiving a single-dose vaccine approved by the FDA on a full or emergency-use basis. In this position, you will:
Partner with children, adolescents, and their families to deliver high quality mental health services.
Work within in an integrated community health care environment with other health and social service professionals.
Conduct diagnostic assessments, engage in treatment planning, and provide individual and group psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and families.
Complete psychological assessments with children and adolescents. This will include administration/interpretation of intelligence tests, achievement tests, adaptive behavior measures, and behavioral rating assessments.
Supervise and train entry-level clinical psychologists and graduate students.
Need to have:
A doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program with appropriate clinical training and one or more years of post-doctoral experience as a clinical psychologist in a medical or mental health setting.
Licensed psychologist by the Minnesota Board of Psychology.

Working with EPIC or another similar electronic health record system.
Providing culturally responsive care to individuals from within the BIPOC community.
Speaking to community groups, schools, healthcare and social service professionals about mental health topics.
Knowledge of how social determinants of health impact populations served.
Bilingual competency (Spanish).
