Wellbeing at Work - Building a Resilient Workplace
with: Beth Johnson
Thursday Evening, April 10th
7:00 - 8:30 pm
No Registration Necessary! Just come and connect with others!
Measuring something like wellbeing can be a challenge. It’s very personal to each of us, and we all are at different points in our wellbeing.
A book called Wellbeing at Work, How to Build Resilient and Thriving Teams offers five elements of wellbeing and a way to measure where we stand on each of the five. The five elements are (in order of importance): career, social, financial, community and physical. This session will examine the five elements and encourage participants to reflect on their own wellbeing. A focus on wellbeing aims to cultivate the whole person at work and in turn provides an environment for people to succeed.
Objectives -
• Introduction to the five elements of wellbeing, as described by Gallup
• Exploration of where participants are thriving and where deficits are
• Examination of the level of thriving for colleagues/teams
• Small group discussions on ways to improve wellbeing among teams
Beth Johnson is a lifelong learner and communicator with a master's degree in educational administration. After working in the public sector in education and communications, she spent 14 years in professional services marketing before focusing on coaching and training for groups and business owners. As a certified CliftonStrengths and DiSC coach, she enjoys seeing the transformative value the assessments can hold.
